Baked eggs in Bread Bowls

Easy, quick, delicious….


  • 8 round buns
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 160 gr. grated cheese
  • 8 tsp chopped parsley or chives

How to do:

Preheat the oven to 170. Chop the ‘heads’ of buns and remove most of their soft part. Place the buns on a baking tray with baking paper. Put an egg on each bun and sprinkle whatever herb  you want (parsley or chives), salt and pepper and 20 gr. of the cheese. Better a salty cheese like parmesan or gruyere. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Then remove it from the oven, place the “heads” of the buns at the side of each bun and bake for another 5 minutes. Lastly, put the ‘heads’ on the buns and serve.
