Saganaki with eggs, pastirma and sujuk.

When the eggs get smell” the pastirma


1) 3 slices of of pastirma

2) a few slices of sujuk (a kind of sausage)

3) 2 eggs

4) yellow cheese, grated

5) red sweet paprika for sprinkling


How to do:

1) Put the pastirma in individually pyrex, in order to cover the bottom.

2) Cover with a few slices of sujuk.

3) Break the eggs over it (like when you do fried eggs).

4) Cover with cheese.

5) Put it in the oven at medium-low heat or in the microwave for about 8 minutes in the second staircase.

Our goal is to melt the cheese (not to burn) and make the eggs tight!

Tip: We check the saganaki with a toothpick.

If you see that the egg has broth, means that it needs more baking.

Once it cooked, sprinkle with red sweet paprika.
