Orange Pudding with orange sauce

An easy recipe for pudding with a rich orange flavor, ready in 30 minutes.

For this recipe you do not need the knowledge of an experienced chef, but only a good microwave.

1) 1 cup of self raising flour alone, sifted

2) 1/3 cup of fine sugar

3) grated rind of 1 orange

4) 60 gr melted butter at room temperature

5) 1/2 cup of fresh orange juice

6) 1 egg

For the sauce:

1) 2/3 cupof  fine sugar

2) 1 and 1/4 cup of fresh orange juice

How to do:

1) Lightly oil a pan, which has 8 cm depth and 6 cups capacity and it can fit in a microwave.

2) In a bowl mix the flour, sugar and the orange zest. In another bowl beat together the butter, lemon juice and the egg. Pour the mix of the egg to the mix of the flour and stir well. Pour your mixture in oiled pan and smooth the surface of your mix.

3) For the sauce put the sugar and the orange juice in a pan that fits in microwave. Cook for 3 minutes in the middle of the power of the oven, stirring every minute until the sugar dissolved. Upload the power to maximum and cook for 1-2 minutes until your mixture boils. Pour the warm sauce on the back of a spoon over the pudding, making sure to flow so as to cover it evenly.

4) Put your pudding in the microwave and cook without a cover in the middle of the power for 8-9 minutes (the edges should be baked and the center to be a little sticky, so for that try to pierce the pudding with a toothpick ). Cover well with foil and let it rest for 5 minutes (the center will no longer be sticky). Serve with vanilla ice cream.
